Scottish Design Relay

Aimed at nurturing a new generation of designers V&A Dundee launched the Scottish Design Relay and asked us to produce films for each location it visited.

Travelling to Shetland, Orkney, Caithness, Aberdeen, Dundee and Govan we caught up with the young people and local designers who had been tasked with creating prototypes inspired by objects with links to their community.

With only a single day at each location, our own challenge was to gather enough material to create a series of ’sketchbook’ films that captured the fun of creating, the spontaneity of ideas and the spirit collaboration.
