NLS Conservation – Stevenson Lining

We’re working closely with the National Library of Scotland to uncover stories from their collections that show the work that goes on behind the scenes to conserve the nation’s collection.

This first film sees conservators Gemma Mathieson and Lizzie Fuller painstakingly and delicately repair a 19th century engineering plan from the Stevenson Collection.
