Saving the Home of Auld Lang Syne
Saving the Home of Auld Lang Syne is a short fundraising film created for the Robert Burns Ellisland Trust. Filmed at Ellisland Farm on the banks of the River Nith, the project explores the place where Burns wrote some of his most enduring songs and how it is being reimagined for the future.
Blending music, landscape and contemporary voices, the film draws a line from Burns’s creative life at Ellisland to the Trust’s vision for learning, artistic residency, and cultural renewal. At its centre is a live performance of Auld Lang Syne, connecting past and present while inviting audiences to help secure the future of this extraordinary site.
