Pekka Kuusisto – SCO Featured Artist

Described as ​“one-of-a-kind” by Toronto’s The Globe and Mail, Finnish Violinist Pekka Kuusisto is renowned for his fresh approach to repertoire. Widely recognised for his flair in directing ensembles from the violin, Kuusisto was the Scottish Chamber Orchestra’s 2019/20 Featured Artist.

We popped along to meet Pekka during rehearsals and hear him and the SCO as they warmed up for a performance at Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall.
